A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.

He attended his elementary and secondary schools in Agbor before proceeding to Federal School of Arts and Science (FSAS), Ondo State to further his education. While he was at FSAS, Ondo, he was a member of the Executive, and Vice President of the Christian Union. He gave his life to Christ in 1980 and became a member of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) in 1981. Since joining TREM, he has served in different capacities of the Ministry as:

All these he did faithfully and zealously with numerous awards from church authorities for his unflinching commitment to the Lord. In January 1990, he became a full time Minister of the Word in TREM, and he is still serving and doing what he knows best: pouring water on the hands of the Man of God, the Presiding Bishop of TREM – Dr Mike Okonkwo.
